Butterfly Valve DN40 Tri-Clamp with Pull Handle

Stainless Steel DN 40 butterfly valve with blue pull knob handle. The handle has a 3 locking positions which hold the handle in place until the knob is pulled to allow opening and closing.

• The valve body protrudes approx. 48 mm below the centerline of the Tri-Clamp connection

One difference between this valve and the butterfly valve with trigger handle, is that the valve handle only rotates 90 degrees (similar to most ball valves) and can only be opened by rotating the handle counterclockwise (again similar to most ball valves).

When mounting the valve directly on the kettle, the handle will normally point either to the left or up when in the closed position. If you require more flexibility in your installation, consider the trigger handle type butterfly valve with a handle that rotates 180 degrees and can be opened clockwise or counterclockwise.

Butterfly valves are not recommended where flow restriction is important, for example when lautering or restricting pump flow.
