Product Description

Our 5.2 kW ripple heating element will increase your heating ramp rate and maintain a relatively low watt density of 13 w/cm2. If you will be using this to boil your wort, make sure you have a controller capable of reducing the power input. 5kW is borderline too much power for soft rolling boil with a 40L batch.

Sold with an PG21  cable gland that has a clamping range of 13-18 mm.

The element consumes approximately 22 amps and cannot be used with the standard 16 amp household circuit. Check with your local electrician to see if your utility allows high amperage on a single phase because of unbalanced loads!
