Counterflow Chiller Tri-Clamp

It took us a long time to find the right chiller for our store, but we've finally found a high-quality, very well-made and effective counterflow chiller for your brewery.

With a 9m wort tube with an internal diameter of 11.3 mm, you'll get better flow than other models that use smaller 9mm tubing.

With a stainless steel counterflow cooler, there is a critical weld where the small inner tube is welded to the tee:

We have found that many models on the market have not been properly purged of oxygen at this point during welding, leaving very rough, heavily oxidized welds on the inside of the wort tube. This is not easy to see from the outside, so we cut open the tee on all of our test pieces to examine it closely.

We found a manufacturer that properly flushes the tee when welding the chiller and produces very high quality, clean welds. A smooth wort tube is easier to keep clean and sanitized!

The chiller has a welded flat mounting bar on one side for easy installation. We have special mounting hardware available for our Craft Hardware brew stands.

When using the Blichmann Riptide pump, the measured flow rate in the system is reduced from approximately 20L/min to 9L/min when recirculating through the counterflow chiller.
